About Asia Images
Asia Images started out as a trial idea five years ago with a
small range of greeting cards. This wholesale and retail company, which
is based on the exotic tropical island of Bali, has survived through the
terrorist crisis and the ensuing economic slump to grow into a thriving
business supplying other established and growing businesses with
The initial product lines were based on the use of the hand painted
Black & White photography by the artist Darvis. This has since expanded
to a further range of images provided by another local artist who has
created the Moksha range of cosmic cards now available. These images are
at available only as greeting cards but will eventually be incorporated
into our range of promotional gift packs and calendars.
The promotional customised gift pack was a concept born out of the
need to provide hotels with gift items for their clients but has been
expanded to promote a wide variety of businesses from jewelry
companies to clothing companies to landscape gardening enterprises. Not
only do we provide local companies and hotels with these delightful
gifts but international and export companies make use of our services so
that our products may be found as far field as the continental USA,
Hawaii, Europe and South America.
The calendar, which is now in its third year, is another very popular
item in the Asia Images range. A practical desktop version ideal for
keeping your company name on your clients desk and in their minds all
year round this aesthetic and tasteful promotional gift
comes with a multi faith listing of holidays, new and full moon and
important calendar dates such as Valentine, Halloween, Chinese New Year
and this year St Patrick’s Day all indicated with clear and simple
symbols. There is ample space provided for the company name above each
image and company information i.e. telephone and fax numbers, email and
website at the base of the page with space for the company logo to the
left side of the dates.
As Asia Images continues to grow the range of available imagery and
products will increase with various ideas being brought into production.
These items will be updated on this site as they come online so please
continue to visit us and enjoy the new range of pictures we take
pleasure in bringing them to our friends and clients.

media of toning and water color. This creates a finished image which is
a blend of photography and painting. This medium was originally an
option used by traditional artists to make a portrait affordable. Only
the rich could commission an original painting.
Today with the advent of the digital camera analog photography and
the silver based print is a dying art; add to this the medium of hand
tinting and we have an art form that is becoming as scarce as the ethnic
imagery he shoots. The images and medium convey the feeling of a time
lost under the wheels of progress.
"Although it is already too late to turn back the wheels of
industrialism and technology to a simpler age of handcrafting I hope
that by documenting and photographing our disappearing civilizations
with their time honored methods of worship, ritual and festival that we
can begin to nurture a compassionate affinity with the ways of our
